Following the success of our work on Underworld and Underworld: Evolution, we have again partnered with Sony Pictures, this time to hype Underworld: Rise of the Lycans. The third installment of this battle-filled series dives into the past...delivering answers to questions the previous movies alluded to.
Given that the new narrative is centuries-old, we draw you deep into an ancient world, one that traces the origins of the brutal feud between Vampires and Lycans. By building the castle and storyline into the site, we create a rich, hauntingly immersive environment. We provide plenty of information for avid fans, but it's just as easy for newcomers to enter the underworld...exploring the plot and meeting the characters - like Sonja, who falls for a barbaric Lycan despite her aristocratic Vampire blood. If the skulls and flickering candles don't make you shiver, Viktor's cold stare (and blinking eyes) will.
As we witnessed with our Underworld: Evolution multiplayer game, fans of this series are also devoted gamers. Our arcade-style games - Catacombs Maze, Guard the Castle and Night Patrol - jump straight into the action, resembling key scenarios from the film while offering hints at what's to come. But they don't give anything away, so have no fear of spoilers.
While we build up excitement for the movie, which lands in theaters on January 23, we're also keeping an eye on this latest trio of games. If they're anywhere near as addictive as the last go-around, we'll be mighty pleased.
