A Seductive Experiment
Romance. Intrigue. Temptation. Loss. Betrayal. Murder. Lust.
Find out what people do when they think no one is watching.
Behind the locked doors and drawn curtains of New York City, millions of private stories unfold every day. The HBO Voyeur Project brings twelve of these hidden stories into view. Each of these stories takes place in a different apartment in five locations throughout the city, with the main action unfolding in the eight apartments of a tenement building at Ludlow and Broome Streets.
In this seductive online experiment, HBO invites you to experience the perverse pleasure of voyeurism. Our challenge? Substitute a window and binoculars for a monitor and a mouse, and bring the vicarious thrill to life by creating detailed architectural facades and a living, breathing Manhattan setting for the stories.
And if you had been watching our windows here in Brooklyn, you'd have seen us working late into the night to keep a dozen videos and a half-dozen audio tracks streaming in perfect sync.

The man hidden in the shadows drew his binoculars into focus and peered into the windows of Big Spaceship's Brooklyn office. He saw monitors aglow, a game of foosball, and two brand spanking new Clio Statues.
Both awards - a Gold for Consumer-Targeted Site and a Silver for Video/Moving Image - were the result of HBO Voyeur, the unique digital experience brilliantly conceived with help from BBDO.
