A rhythm-based game, meant to be played on a sound system that “goes to 11.” We like to have moments of innocent insanity, yet Guitar Hero’s numerous sessions of stress suppression are havoc on the ears of us working – it’s embarrassing to say to a client on the phone that the person in the background screaming, “I rocked the bricks outta ya” is just a youtube video. As a result, a new office rule states, “Before 6:30pm, if you wanna rock, roll with the newly installed headphones.”

And so Freebird and Sweet Child of Mine, at least for us not playing, are now dull button click clacks. Sometimes we try and guess what song is on by listening to these rhythmic taps.

“What song are they rocking out to?”
“Sounds like Desperately Trying To Keep Up.”
